There were a few minor issues such as a slightly dirty shower floor and the lack of soap in some of the bathrooms. the rooms could have been dusted more thoroughly, which may be a problem for those with dust mite allergies.

Our overnight stop at The Elms Guest House was ideal for our journey south to Plymouth. The location was perfect, with secure parking for our motorbikes and a fantastic Sri Lankan restaurant just a short walk away. The host was friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed, including a basin and kettle. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep. The shower was excellent and provided a refreshing start to our day.
