I had a wonderful stay at the Florida Guest House. The room was bright, modern, and equipped with all the essentials like a fridge, TV, and kettle. The daily supply of coffee, tea, and toiletries was a nice touch. The location was perfect, just a short walk to Paignton Pier and Preston Sands Beach. The highlight of my trip was the steam train ride to Kingswear and the ferry crossing to Dartmouth. The landscape was truly breathtaking. I highly recommend this guest house for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The hotel is very close to the beach and conveniently located near the town centre. The cleanliness of the property is remarkable and the facilities provided are impressive. The breakfast was cooked to order and delicious, and the staff were attentive and friendly.

The owners, Pauline and Tim, were exceptionally great hosts, very friendly and accommodating. The location of this hotel was perfect, as it was just a short walk away from the beach and the beautiful English Riviera in Devon. The hotel facilities were excellent, with clean and comfortable en-suite bathrooms and showers. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast, which was catered to our liking. Additionally, parking was available on site, making it convenient for us to explore the surrounding areas.

This place is a little Gem. The owner is a cracker of a fella who makes you feel right at home. The bedroom was snug with that homely feeling. The Full English Breakfast was excellently cooked and was very filling. Would happily stay here again.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. My recent stay at the Florida Guest House was fantastic. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The room was spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The shower, although small, had good water pressure and was warm. The breakfast served was absolutely delicious, cooked to order with plenty of options. The location of the guest house was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and close to everything I wanted to do in the area.

We chose this guesthouse for its pet-friendly policy and convenient location for exploring Torquay and Brixham. The lower ground room with ensuite shower provided privacy and the bonus of a separate entrance. The owners and staff were accommodating, and the breakfast, especially the sausage for our dog, was consistently delicious. The orthopedic mattresses, soft pillows, and duvets ensured a restful night's sleep. Highly recommended!
