We stayed at The Garrison for a night during our Scottish road trip. The location was perfect, close to the train station and city center but still quiet. The room was cozy, modern, and spotlessly clean, with a nice selection of treats. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we even had a small surprise view of the Loch between buildings. The staff were helpful and organized complimentary coffee and Danish for our early morning departure. The decor was stylish and the hotel was dog-friendly. a fantastic and comfortable stay.

We found this place to be a great value for money. The room was modern and well-equipped with heating, an electric kettle and free toiletries. The location in the town centre was convenient and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. We especially appreciated the welcome drink and complimentary snacks.

The rooms were a bit on the cramped side, especially for larger families. there were issues with the TVs not working properly, which led to some frustration and disappointment during our stay.

The staff at Garrison were incredibly attentive and accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort during our stay. We were pleasantly surprised when they upgraded our room without us even asking. The spacious room they provided was a relief, especially for my tall boyfriend and our large husky. We even received complimentary snacks and drinks, a lovely gesture. The shower in our bathroom was fantastic, although the design could have been better to prevent water from spilling onto the floor. The location of the hotel was convenient, not too far from the train station, and the bar had a great ambiance with a wide selection of drinks. Despite a few minor drawbacks like limited parking and expensive breakfast, the overall experience at Garrison was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.
