Stayed at The Gatelodge for a short, relaxing getaway. Safe parking, comfy bed, large modern bathroom with a spacious shower area. Good quality towels. Though there is no kitchen, they provide a small microwave, fridge with milk, butter, and pastries, toaster. The restored gate lodge is beautiful and cozy, with a TV, Wi-Fi, and lovely touches like Netflix. Ideal for a short stay.

Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Free WiFi, lovely garden. The closest airport is a mere hop, skip, and jump away. They even have a TV, how fancy!

Just loved feeling closed in with only a bedroom and a bathroom, plus no hot water or WiFi. Oh, and let's not forget the joy of no cooking facilities.

Free WiFi was so reliable, I finished a whole season on Netflix! And the garden? Well, I could've been in Buckingham Palace!

Oh, I just love when the Wi-Fi is as flaky as a croissant and the hot water is a delightful surprise. Such a fantastic stay!

I had a fantastic stay at The Gatelodge for a wedding. The guesthouse is located in a beautiful town with a tranquil river and grassed area. The building and interiors are absolutely beautiful, and the bed was incredibly comfy. The bathroom was modern and spacious with a large shower. The host, John, was extremely helpful and provided all the necessary information. The food at the wedding was exceptional, especially the beef. a lovely and enjoyable stay.

I do recommend this hotel.
