The room was really nice and clean, providing great comfort during our stay. The hotel facilities were excellent, especially the bar which was well stocked and a perfect place to unwind. Additionally, the location of the hotel was close to the lakes and conveniently near a roundabout, making it easy for us to explore the beautiful Windermere area. The breakfast provided was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring that our needs were met throughout our stay.

We loved the breakfasts at this hotel, which were served in a relaxed atmosphere and had a good variety of options. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The hotel's location was very useful for accessing the lakes and other tourist destinations.

For us, it was ideal.

During our stay in Kendal, we found a hotel conveniently located near the city center. The rooms were comfortable with friendly staff and plenty of parking available. We enjoyed exploring the nearby Windermere area and appreciated the easy access to the main roads in and out of the Lakes. The breakfast and dinner options were good, and the bar was well-stocked, providing a pleasant atmosphere.

The lack of experienced staff at the hotel was evident, especially in the evenings. We felt that more supervision was needed, particularly around the bar area.

As a couple, we loved the friendly and accommodating staff, who worked their socks off to ensure our comfort. The dinners we had were excellent, and the modernized bathroom was a great touch. The bar area downstairs was lovely, and the breakfast offered a good selection. The location near the lake was perfect, and the hotel's pub served delicious evening pub food. Our family room was clean, spacious, and well-decorated, with separate sections for bunk beds, which was a bonus.

The service at Gateway was a bit slower, but the delicious food made up for it. The staff seemed overwhelmed during lunchtime, but they were still friendly. Our evening meal took longer than expected, but it wasn't a big issue for us. The rooms were recently decorated and very comfortable. The location was perfect for accessing the Motorway. The best part was that despite being a distance from the road, there was no noise at all! I highly recommend this hotel.
