Absolutely stunning location with a beautiful outdoor area. the rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, making for a comfortable stay. the staff were incredibly cheerful and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. the cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the breakfast served was absolutely stunning. One additional advantage was the warm and cozy atmosphere in the bar, perfect for a relaxing evening by the fire.

Although there was nothing major to dislike, it would have been useful to have hooks on the bedroom and bathroom doors to hang coats and towels, and a shelf in the bathroom to put things. Other than that, there was nothing not to like about this hotel.

The breakfast options are excellent, including scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. The inn also serves delicious evening meals made from fresh ingredients. The location is ideal, surrounded by stunning countryside and beautiful villages. The staff, especially Ralph the landlord and Helen who cooks breakfast, are friendly and helpful.

I recently stayed in a lovely country inn in a beautiful area. The location was perfect, as it was close to another lovely pub that did a great vegetarian meal. The room I stayed in was very tasteful and extremely clean, with lovely white fluffy towels. The service at the inn was excellent, and the staff made me feel very welcome. The breakfast provided had plenty of choice and was delicious.

The only negative aspect I experienced was that the restaurant was closed on certain nights, which I wasn't aware of.

The Pheasant room's key was a bit difficult to use, but the staff promptly attended to the issue when we raised it.

The countryside location of this inn is absolutely stunning, surrounded by miles of beautiful villages and countryside. And if you're a vegetarian, you'll be happy to know that there's another lovely pub nearby that serves great vegetarian meals. The spacious and comfortable rooms have everything you need, including walk-in showers. The staff provide excellent service and the breakfast options are plentiful and delicious. Plus, the inn has a charming 17th century atmosphere.

It would be great if check-in time was a bit earlier, as 5.30pm can be a bit late for some travelers.
