Friendly atmosphere, incredible breakfast, and helpful staff. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm and inviting atmosphere at George. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the exceptional breakfast, which left us feeling energized for the day ahead. The staff were incredibly courteous and went out of their way to assist us with all our needs. Despite a minor issue with the lighting in our room, the overall comfort and cleanliness were impressive. The hotel's convenient location also made it easy for us to explore the surrounding area. I would highly recommend this hotel for a delightful stay.

We recently stayed at a hotel in the town of Montrose for a romantic escape. We loved the comfortable and modern room with plenty of storage space and a cozy bed. the restaurant menu offered a wide variety of options, including vegetarian and gluten-free meals, which was fantastic. the hotel was ideally located close to the town center and local attractions.

There was no one at reception and no breakfast room available in the morning. We also missed having a bar to relax in after a long day out.

had a fantastic walking tour in Montrose, and George exceeded expectations! Polite staff, excellent food for my dietary needs, and comfy room.

This hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The location is very close to the town center, making it convenient for exploring. It is also conveniently located near the train station and bus stops in Montrose, allowing for easy travel. The staff provides excellent service and the basic amenities are well-maintained. The rooms are kept immaculately clean, with lovely fluffy towels and a good-sized shower.

All in all, everything at this hotel was more than satisfactory.

I recently stayed at The George for a few nights and had a great experience. The staff were warm and very helpful, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. The room was cozy and the bed extremely comfortable. The shower was easy to use and had good water pressure. The hotel's location was convenient, with secure parking facilities and all amenities within walking distance. The food, both in the bar and at breakfast, was excellent, offering a great variety and good quality. The George provided excellent value for money and I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is conveniently located near the town center with easy access to nightclubs and entertainment venues. It is also situated right across from an old building that has been transformed into a popular nightclub, adding to the vibrant nightlife atmosphere. Guests can enjoy the bustling city scene while being just a stone's throw away from the hotel.

There was one aspect of the hotel that was not up to par. The electricals in the room seemed to have some issues with the kettle and lamp not working properly.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of a charming town. It is conveniently located right in the town center, close to all amenities. The food at the hotel was excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. the portions were generous, and everything was cooked to perfection. the lemon cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding were especially delicious. the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. the surroundings were pleasant, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.

It was located on the third floor, with no elevator available, which was inconvenient. the room itself had limited sockets and no bedside table or lamp on one side of the bed, making it difficult to read or have a place to keep personal belongings.

We were delighted with the vegan options provided by the helpful waiting staff. The extensive bar menu satisfied our carnivorous cravings, and the food arrived quickly and tasted delicious. The well-trained and polite staff made our experience a very good one. we highly recommend this hotel.

It was refreshing to see such young staff members delivering such high-quality service. the room itself was well laid out and had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed and a hot shower. the breakfast options were plentiful, with a great selection of cereals, fruits, and juices. the cooked breakfast was made to order and felt like a personalized touch. Checking out was a breeze, and knowing that our car was safe in the parking lot added to our overall delightful experience. We can't wait to return for another short stay in September!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel which is located right in the town centre close to everything. The rooms were very clean and had all the necessary facilities including tea making facilities. The breakfast provided was excellent with a wide range of choices. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
