we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade at the George Hotel. the courtyard space was amazing and the staff were attentive and friendly. the room, though we were upgraded, had plenty of space and a feel of old-world charm. Dining options were fantastic, with the Oak Room offering a luxurious experience.

Guests have raved about the delicious dinner options in the panelled restaurant, and the breakfast in the Garden room is also highly praised. Additionally, some guests have enjoyed the spacious and well-furnished Junior Suite, complete with a clean and large bathroom.

Some guests have noted that the service in the other restaurant was a bit of a letdown compared to the panelled restaurant.

The room was cozy and nicely decorated with a big bathroom. the staff was friendly and helpful. the location was convenient and close to the train station, making it easy for us to explore the city.

The sausages were very spicy and tasted like sawdust. the poached egg was undercooked and the kidneys were overcooked.

We had to specifically ask for information about the area and were surprised when they seemed caught off guard. we found the prices for the facilities and the room to be quite steep, which made it difficult for us to consider returning in the future.
