The recently appointed head chef has taken catering to an unprecedented level of variety and presentation. The hotel bar offers a cozy atmosphere and quality bar food. The sitting room restaurant provides a unique and intimate dining experience.

Like a sticky table, my enthusiasm for returning was slightly diminished.

Food was absolutely scrumptious, especially the slow cooked beef and roast chicken. Desserts, like the sticky toffee pudding and chocolate brownie, were heavenly. Friendly service and a warm welcome.

Rooms were neglected and poorly maintained. Lack of basic amenities such as wardrobe and toiletries.
