We had a delightful stay at this cozy inn. the bedrooms were clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and pillows. the food at both dinner and breakfast was outstanding, with a wide range of options to choose from. the location was perfect, being set in a beautiful village and centrally located near two great pubs.

There were a few downsides to our experience. the service in the restaurant at dinner was poor, as we had to ask for the drinks menu and had to call the staff to take our orders.

Friendly and efficient service, the staff were attentive. The homemade soup and beef and ale pie were outstanding, with tender beef and delicious gravy. The wild rose room had amazing views and a comfortable bed. I would recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch at The Globe Inn. The roast beef was superb, cooked to perfection, and the steak and ale pie was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous and reasonably priced. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere made our visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this pub with rooms for a satisfying meal and a great time.

The free toiletries were a nice touch, and we enjoyed relaxing in the evening with the CD player and flat-screen TV. The dining options were fantastic, with a restaurant and a bar/lounge area. The breakfast was delicious, and we appreciated the option for packed lunches. The staff really went above and beyond to cater to our needs. The leisure facilities were also great, with a lovely garden area and free Wi-Fi in the rooms. we had an exceptional experience and would highly recommend this venue to others.

I recently stayed at the Globe Inn in Chagford and had a wonderful experience. The room I stayed in was spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was large and well-appointed with all the necessary amenities. I loved the little extra space between the bedroom and bathroom, which had a wardrobe and a table with a kettle and a selection of teas and coffee. It was a nice touch.

our recent honeymoon in chagford turned out to be even more memorable thanks to a delightful stay at the inn. exceeded all expectations - from the brilliant staff and quick check-in/out, to the breathtaking views and incredible bed in the wild rose room. can't wait to return!

Breakfast let us down a bit.

The location of this hotel is great, right in the centre of town next to the restaurant anyway. It's also close enough to the A30 in a lovely village near the church. The rooms are spacious and homely, with clean bathrooms. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast is delicious. The hotel also offers spare pillows and there are sweet local attractions nearby like Castle Drogo.

Finding a comfortable chair anywhere in the pub is difficult.

Friendly staff, secure bike storage, cozy bed, excellent shower, good Wi-Fi. Central location for walking and cycling routes around Dartmoor. Comfortable and traditional decor, spacious room and bathroom. Great sleep followed by tasty breakfast. Good pub with great whiskey selection and evening food available. 4.5/5.

The Inn's eclectic style may not have been to our taste, but everything was immaculate and the staff was lovely. We highly recommend this hotel.
