The staff were incredibly welcoming and the rooms were clean and comfortable. the on-site children's entertainment kept our little ones entertained for hours, allowing us parents to relax.

The location near Cambridge was convenient for exploring the city. Cons: My wife says that having a playground on-site would have been a great addition for families with children.

I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful thatched inn with ample parking. Upon arrival, a chocolate bar awaited us in the lovely room with a good TV. the full cooked breakfast was delicious, with two fried eggs and baked beans. the location was peaceful and the hosts were excellent. Despite some dated decor in the room and difficulty finding the location, the overall experience was very good. I highly recommend this hotel.

The value for money at the Golden Ball was excellent, with comfortable and clean rooms that were blissfully quiet.
