I recently stayed at this luxurious 4-star hotel and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk away from the main sights of this beautiful city. I could easily explore the famous Colleges and the Fitzwilliam Museum. Plus, being close to restaurants and shops made it incredibly convenient for me to enjoy the local cuisine and do some shopping.

Upon check-in, I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a feature room at Gonville. The room was beautifully decorated with modern and tasteful decor. The bathroom was luxurious, complete with a freestanding roll-top bath and Espa toiletries. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the turn-down service was a nice touch. All the staff were friendly, efficient, and professional. The breakfast was delicious and the homemade cookies in the reception area were a delightful extra. I had a superb stay at this 5-star hotel. The room amenities were also excellent, with ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, and a comfortable sitting area. The terrace and patio with garden furniture were a nice touch, along with the free toiletries, electric kettle, and flat-screen tv. The staff here really went above and beyond, accommodating all our requests and making our stay as comfortable as possible. They really made an effort to deliver great service!

It was a great way to explore the area without any extra charge. When my friend left his phone charging kit and cables behind, the hotel promptly sent them to my address without any fuss. We were thoroughly impressed with their exceptional service. Additionally, having Netflix available on the television was a nice touch.

While the promotional material led us to believe the hotel is in a semi-rural location, we found it to be on a busy road, which was a bit of a disappointment. The frontage of the hotel could also use some improvement in terms of upkeep and decor.
