The value for money at the Grand was fantastic and the room exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, right by the train station and a short walk to the city center. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

The food for breakfast could have been better, specifically the missing chips that were supposed to come with the meal.

The hotel also offered complimentary shampoo, soap, and shower gel. All the staff, from reception to the bar and housekeeping, were lovely, friendly, and helpful. The room had fresh decor and new flooring. Fantastic service overall, with nothing being too much trouble. The hotel even helped me retrieve a charger I had left behind. The bar was comfortable and convenient. Excellent king-size bed and newly refurbished room decor. Adjacent car park with subsidized rates at £5. it was challenging to find access to the hotel via the car park bridge. the noise levels from the paper-thin walls were disruptive to our sleep.

Fantastic location right next to the train station and a large public car park nearby. The rooms are equipped with basic amenities and a bath, which was perfect. The staff provided great service and the breakfast had something for everyone, except weak tea and boiled eggs.

Some minor room cleaning issues that could be improved.

The hotel's location opposite the train station was extremely convenient for us as bike riders. We could easily access the hotel without any hassle and it made our arrival and departure smooth. Additionally, being near the railway station allowed us to explore other areas easily and saved us a lot of commuting time.

It was a bit disappointing to find that the bathroom cleanliness was not up to our expectations. Despite this small issue, it did not greatly affect our overall experience at the hotel.
