Had the most wonderful weekend here! the hosts were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Plus, the house had a beautiful decor that was both elegant and charming. It was a cozy place with a VERY comfortable bed. the location was also perfect for exploring the nearby area and offered stunning views. Enjoyed delicious homemade meals and a lovely atmosphere at the bar!

The hosts, Bruce and Sheila, were incredibly warm and accommodating, making our family feel right at home. the spacious rooms were perfect for our large brood, and the delicious breakfast fuelled us for a day of exploring Exmoor.

I found it a bit challenging that there was no TV in the room.

Sheila and Bruce went above and beyond with their warm hospitality at The Great House. The listed property's charm may not suit light sleepers, but the cozy bar and lounge add to the unique experience. The Luttrell suite was peaceful, with a comfy bed and spotless bath. The homemade breakfast and dinner were superb, creating a delightful, homey atmosphere. A memorable stay.

The Great House B&B in Timberscombe was a delightful escape with warm hosts. the decor is charming, and Sheila's cooking is exceptional. the residents' bar created a cozy ambiance. Our stay felt like a home away from home. the creaky floors and old plumbing added character but could be bothersome for light sleepers. the sun terrace and leisure room offered a relaxing retreat, complemented by nearby landmarks like Dunster Village and Bat's Castle, where family bonding was enhanced by exploring historic sites.
