The check-in process was smooth and the staff were attentive and friendly throughout our stay. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and a separate bath and shower cubicle. The power shower was invigorating and gave us a great start to the day. The bar area was bright and airy, and we enjoyed a delicious snack meal in the evening. The food was freshly cooked and portions were generous. We also appreciated the well-maintained gardens and the lovely views. we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

I recently had a great stay at a hotel just off the motorway on my way back from a highland holiday. The staff were friendly and professional, and the upgraded room I was given was large and exceptionally clean. The attention to detail was evident, with a spacious wet room and a super comfortable king size bed. The location was perfect, being close to the motorway but surprisingly quiet, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast was absolutely superb, with a choice of Scottish porridge and croissant. it was a fantastic place to stop on my journey.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel during my work trip. The location was unbeatable, just off the motorway, and I didn't even realize it was near the highway while inside the hotel. I had a great view down towards the Solway and the hotel was right next to the historic bridge linking England and Scotland. The hotel also provided easy access to Gretna's latest attraction, the Auld Aquaintence Stone Cairn, a heartfelt monument to the Union. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel offered good value for money. The room was clean and well-furnished, with a comfortable bed. The food at the hotel's restaurant was delicious.

great to break our journey and free upgrade too. was perfect being almost directly on the road to Scotland. had copper pots and brass around the bar and historic signs n pictures. service, staff, basic amenities, rooms out of this world. in restaurant freshly cooked and enjoyable breakfast. was very clean and comfortable, could not really fault it. in a beautifully appointed room. breakfast prior to the deadline time. in the evening. was simple fare but with plenty of choice. in a nice stress free dining room with clean white tablecloths instead of masses of plastic or just modern wipe-down tables

Lovely Hotel, easy access from the main road. Beautiful building with a well-maintained garden. Our room had a pleasant view over the gardens. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom had luxury toiletries.

The hotel location was great, close to the outlet center and easily accessible from the motorway. the room was warm and had a nice bathroom with a powerful shower. the staff was friendly and always ready to help.

My Xmas experience at this hotel was not very pleasant. the food was not good at all, my wife hated the pork sausages.

The gardens and seating area were a real highlight, providing a pleasant space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. the room was excellent, with lovely views over the gardens, and the bed was comfortable and clean.

There were a couple of small issues that stood out. the lasagna and steak pie did not meet our expectations.

The breakfast buffet was delicious and they were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions. The evening meal was also great, with a vast choice for everyone. the hotel facilities and cleanliness were top-notch.
