I recently stayed at The Grosvenor Arms for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff were efficient, polite, and always had a smile on their faces. The breakfasts and evening meals were excellent, and the room was incredibly comfortable. The young lady at the reception went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, suggesting a room change to a more convenient location on a lower floor, which made a huge difference. The hotel's location was also great, and the downstairs facilities, including the reception, bar, and dining room, were top-notch.

Lovely hotel with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and nice furniture. Very clean throughout and dog-friendly. Staff were helpful and friendly, from check-in to bar service. Excellent selection of cocktails, gins, and vodkas. Delicious dinner in the restaurant with a great wine menu. Large, comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast.

We had a delightful stay at a charming hotel in a great location. The historic ambiance added to the overall experience. The renovated Assembly Room and courtyard were especially beautiful. The room was comfortable and clean, with fluffy towels and lovely homemade bread at breakfast. The apple and pear crumble was the best I've ever tasted. The staff, particularly the friendly and helpful waitress, made us feel welcome. Despite a few minor inconveniences, like the early closing of the bar and the lack of a night porter, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Grosvenor Arms. I highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful public rooms and courtyard, superb food, wide variety of choices, excellent breakfast, well-decorated and comfortable rooms, central location.

The hotel was clean and tidy. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The breakfast was excellent and the location was right in the centre of town, close to many tourist hotspots including Stonehenge.

We had a fantastic time during our romantic escape. the hotel had a wonderful restaurant and bar, offering delicious wood-fired oven pizzas and a great selection of ales and wines. We were also impressed with the warm and cozy ambiance of the hotel, which had a shabby chic style without being pretentious. we loved that the hotel was dog-friendly, allowing us to bring our furry friend along with us.

The small double bed with an uncomfortable mattress. This resulted in a poor night's sleep for both my wife and me.

The hotel's hidden garden area was stunning and the decor was beautiful. The cuisine was excellent and made from locally sourced food. The staff in the dining room were friendly and accommodating.

Stayed at Grosvenor Arms for a wonderful 80th birthday lunch. Exceptional food and amazing staff. Lovely, cosy bar and restaurant area with log fires and comfy sofas. The room was superb, with a balcony and spaciousness. The artisan shops and coffee bars in Shaftsbury were an unexpected delight. Croissants and yogurt pots were delicious, and the toiletries provided were fabulous. Heating was good and water hot. Absolutely lovely staff!

The coffee tasted burnt, the eggs were overcooked and rubbery, and the toast was hard and cold. the bathroom looked old and outdated, and the shower barely had any water pressure.
