The room was clean, fresh, and neat, with a good supply of drinks and snacks. the hotel had its own parking, which was a great advantage in this city where parking is almost impossible. the owners were cheerful and helpful, providing valuable advice on places of interest. the breakfast they served was really good, setting us up for the day.

The window fitting was a bit problematic as it was hard to close. However, despite these minor inconveniences, the hotel was well-run, maintained, and very clean.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Whitby. The location was excellent, with easy walking access to the town centre and a lovely park just across the road. The hotel also offered convenient parking, which is rare to find in this city. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, and the bed was huge and incredibly comfortable. We appreciated the little touches, such as fresh milk, fudge, crisps, water, and biscuits provided in the room. The breakfast was delicious, with a great choice of options, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

I had a wonderful stay at Grove Bed & Breakfast. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel very welcome. The communication before and during my stay was excellent. The location was perfect, within easy walking distance to all the local attractions. The room was spacious and had everything I needed, and I enjoyed the nice outside space. The breakfast was delicious, with great choices that set me up for the day. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a brilliant city trip and the hotel was amazing! the location was spot on, just a few minutes' walk from the town center and all the restaurants. the breakfast was delicious and the full English was a must-try! They provided us with fresh milk and were very accommodating. We also liked the fact that they had a car park at the back of the hotel, which made it easier for us to come and go.

The breakfast was exceptional and the hosts friendly but professional. The room we were given was actually the flat/apartment which was more than we had asked and paid for. It was spacious and the kitchen was well-equipped. The bed was comfortable and all the basics were included. Thanks to Joanna and Danny for the lovely few nights! The hosts provided gluten-free bread for breakfast and were very helpful and pleasant. The room was spacious, well-furnished, and had everything you need for a short stay. The ensuite had a great shower, toiletries, and soft towels. The location is great, just a ten-minute walk into the town center, and free private parking is available.
