The bar had reasonably priced drinks. The local ale was excellent. The staff member with a Welsh accent was particularly helpful.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a weekend getaway and had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect, right in the heart of town but surprisingly quiet. Our room was spacious and had a stunning view of the river and castle ruins. The staff were incredibly helpful and the breakfast service was excellent. The room was cosy, homely, and impeccably clean. The heating and hot water worked perfectly, and onsite parking was convenient. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it.

The staff were accommodating and pleasant. Special mention to the hardworking Turkish lady. Breakfast was good and anything not right was soon corrected. Very nice coffee and that's important.
