We had a delightful stay at a charming hotel in a bustling town. The room we stayed in was beautifully styled, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised that they allowed our pets to stay, and even provided a bowl of water and treats for them. The location was convenient, with easy access to a supermarket. The staff were fantastic and even left a box of chocolates for my husband's birthday. I highly recommend this hotel for a warm, cosy, and friendly stay.

My stay at the Highway Inn was delightful! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel at home. Although there was no comfortable lounge area, I enjoyed spending my evenings in the courtyard, thanks to the lovely weather. our honeymoon stay in burford was absolutely perfect, and the highway inn played a huge part in that. from the cozy rooms to the friendly staff, everything exceeded our expectations. we loved exploring the quaint town and enjoying delicious meals and drinks at the inn. highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location couldn't have been better for exploring the charming high street with its quaint shops, cafes, and pubs. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even though we booked our room last minute. They were very helpful and showed us to a beautifully decorated room with a comfortable bed and a recently refurbished bathroom. The breakfast was excellent, with a choice of fresh continental or hot English food prepared by a friendly chef. We also enjoyed the delicious dinner and drinks at the bar. the service, housekeeping, and amenities provided enhanced our comfort and made our stay even more enjoyable.

We found the hotel to be a bit too dog-friendly for our taste, with dogs being allowed on the soft furnishings. Additionally, the room was smaller than we expected based on the photos and there were some dusty spots.

The hotel was perfectly located right in the centre of the village, making it convenient to explore and visit the local shops. The room we stayed in had a lovely view down the high street, although it did get a bit noisy at times. The staff provided excellent service and the breakfast that was served was amazing. The hotel also had modern facilities and a comfortable room.

The noise from the high street could be a bit intrusive at times.

We stayed at The Highway Inn for a weekend getaway and absolutely loved it. The room had charming beams and sloping floors, making it a unique and delightful experience. The inn itself was beautifully decorated and had a stylish atmosphere. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly, creating a lovely ambiance in the bar and restaurant. We enjoyed the great food and the courtyard for evening drinks. We will definitely be returning to this period inn.

This place is ideally situated on the high street, right in the main street. The staff provided excellent service and even went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, including our dog. The room was comfortable and had loads of character. The food and drink selection at the restaurant was excellent.

The location of the restaurant tables, which were too close together. While dining, we could hear conversations from other tables and the occasional bumping of chairs.

Location is convenient for shops and restaurants. Provided a spacious top floor room with private bathroom. Excellent vegetarian options for dinner and breakfast. Friendly staff who even gave treats to our dogs. Wish we could have stayed longer!
