Had a wonderful Christmas at this cozy spot! the delicious and abundant full English breakfast was a highlight, allowing me to choose what I wanted to avoid food wastage. the hosts' knowledge of the area made exploring Northumberland and the Scottish borders a breeze. the room was spotless, and the separate bunk bed area was perfect for our needs.

Despite the lovely stay, some improvements could be made. One guest had a mix-up with the pet-friendly policy, causing confusion and inconvenience.

Despite the positive experiences, there are a couple of areas that could be improved upon. For instance, the limited space in some of the rooms might be a bit cramped.

Simon, the host, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. the breakfast was excellent, and the room was cozy and well-equipped with everything we needed. the double glazing effectively blocked out any noise from the nearby road, and the convenient parking made unloading our bags hassle-free. a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel, particularly the spacious family room layout with a separate area for the children. the hosts were extremely accommodating and went out of their way to ensure our needs were met. the ease of late check-in and delicious freshly cooked meals were also highlights of our experience here.

The twin room was cozy, with a nice touch of a private bathroom and an electric kettle. We enjoyed the warm and welcoming atmosphere it provided.

The limited TV channels were a bit disappointing, though some might not mind.
