We loved staying at this hotel, tucked away in a peaceful location away from the tensions of big cities. The room was clean and comfortable, with a mini fridge for fresh milk and cold water. The friendly staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic. The hotel also had a function area, which added to its charm. it was a great value for money experience.

The bathroom could do with some attention as the shower needs regrouting.

The Ivy House is a hidden gem tucked away in a quiet area, perfect for those working in the vicinity. The bar area has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are friendly and attentive. The rooms are basic but have all the necessary amenities, including a fridge which was handy for keeping milk. Breakfast is included and the fresh coffee is a real treat, made with good quality ingredients.

the rooms were small and quaint, but very clean and had everything you needed. They even provided coffee bags and fresh milk, which was such a nice touch. Despite the small size, the room was comfortable and had a tower fan to combat the heat. the pub itself had a relaxed atmosphere and served superb food. the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Breakfast was also excellent, served in a timely manner and without any rushing.

We recently stayed for New Year's Eve and had a great experience! The rooms were compact but clean, and the family running the place were incredibly friendly and professional. The food was first-class, with a varied menu and reasonably priced wines. We also loved the outside seating area and the ample parking available. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area and we felt like regulars even though it was our first visit. a delightful stay!

While the room was clean and cozy, it was a bit on the smaller side, especially for two people sharing. We also noticed some noise from the road traffic, which disrupted our sleep.

had a nice stay in chalfont st giles, and the ivy house exceeded my expectations. loved the cozy bar and restaurant area, and the staff were friendly. the themed room added a fun touch, and the breakfast was tasty.

Almost perfect.

The hotel had a certain charm with its quaint, well-kept bar and easy access. The staff were amazing and very friendly, providing excellent service throughout my stay. The rooms, although compact, were spotlessly clean and well maintained.

The only minor downside was that the room was a bit hot at night and opening the window meant dealing with some noise from the nearby road.

The breakfast served to me in the morning was absolutely delicious! It surpassed my expectations with its freshly cooked options. Another highlight was the beautiful surroundings and settings of the hotel. It provided a picturesque and tranquil atmosphere, which was a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of city life. I appreciated the helpful and friendly staff who were always ready to assist.

the cleanliness of the carpets throughout the hotel was a major issue. They were in desperate need of a deep clean, to the point where I couldn't even walk barefoot on them.

We had a wonderful stay at Ivy House! the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. the Highland Room we stayed in was perfect for single occupancy, with elegant decor and impeccable cleanliness. the restaurant served delicious homemade tomato and red pepper soup followed by sausage and mash, and the service was top-notch. Despite being located on a busy road, we had a peaceful night's sleep as there was no noise from the bar below. the comfortable bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. We also enjoyed a perfect breakfast with high-quality sausages. the staff's exceptional service left a lasting impression on us, and we have already recommended Ivy House to our colleagues.

The room, although small, was cozy and had everything I needed. The views from the room were stunning, offering a glimpse of the surrounding hills and countryside. The addition of streaming services on the TV was a nice touch. The overall value for money was excellent.
