Spent Easter at this hotel and had a comfortable room with all the amenities we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful with any request we had, always with a smile. Key location in the East Midlands, close to many attractions and places to visit. Loved the local food served in the restaurant, fresh and delicious. , loved the little touches in the room, like the chocolate shortbread that was so yummy.

The only disadvantage was the parking, as it was hard to find a spot sometimes and we had to park at the back of the hotel, but with the help of the staff, it was sorted. had a great experience and would recommend to others!

We did notice that certain areas of the hotel were starting to look tired, with chipped paint and discolored sealant in the bathroom. there were some small details that were lacking, such as the absence of shower caps and adequate disposal for feminine hygiene in the bathroom.

The value for the money was excellent and the room was beautifully decorated and had a very comfortable bed. The location was perfect, right in the middle of town, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating.

I had a wonderful experience at the Lake Isle restaurant with rooms. The location is perfect, right on the High Street. The room was tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The staff, especially the young female member with long dark hair, provided excellent guest care. She went above and beyond to help us find alternative dining options when the hotel restaurant was fully booked. She even called taxi firms on our behalf and provided delightful nibbles while we waited. The breakfast was delicious, cooked to order and beautifully presented. it was a fantastic stay and I would definitely come again.
