The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with spacious bathrooms and excellent showers. The staff is welcoming and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. The restaurant serves delicious food, with a great wine list to complement your meal.

The seating in the restaurant has a lack of coat hooks, which can be inconvenient when sitting on the bench seating.

Located near the stunning Folkestone Harbour, The Marquis Alkham is a fabulous little pub that offers a picturesque view of the surrounding Kent Countryside. The recent refurbishment has enhanced its charm, and as a frequent guest of the previous establishment, I am thoroughly impressed. The rooms are spacious and well-decorated, with modern amenities blending seamlessly with the old architecture. The friendly staff provides excellent service, and the breakfast is delicious. The outdoor dining area with tables and umbrellas is perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather.

The shower had a broken handle, resulting in a cold shower experience.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were genuinely caring and wonderful. The room was lovely, comfortable, and clean. The bath was something special, perfect for a relaxing soak. The hotel is conveniently located near the cosy village pub and restaurant, making it easy to enjoy a delicious meal and drinks without going too far. The breakfast was nice and the room looked beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly the manager.

What a way to welcome in the new year! We stayed in a charming, beautifully decorated hotel, just a stone's throw from some of the most scenic locations we've ever seen. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even as they dealt with the last-minute rush of guests. the food was absolutely delicious, especially the matched wines that went perfectly with our meal, and the breakfast was the perfect way to start our first day of the year.

While the décor was lovely, the heating was a bit complicated and we had trouble getting it to stay at a comfortable temperature. the noise from the road and bar downstairs was quite loud at times, which made it a bit difficult to sleep at night.

As a tourist, I absolutely loved the spacious and comfortable deluxe room at this hotel. The restaurant was also cosy and quiet, and the breakfast was delicious with great service. I also had a fantastic dinner here, with reasonably priced options and a wonderful selection of wine. The staff was excellent in resolving a small issue with the door key, and the parking on the premises was spacious.

We loved the room advantages, which were well designed, with a lot of natural light, and a spacious and sophisticated bathroom. the breakfast had a perfect balance of menu options and the food was of high quality. the service from the staff was attentive and professional. the hotel had a Sun terrace, which offered amazing views. the location advantages made it easy to explore nearby attractions.

We only had one minor issue with this hotel. the Bar/Lounge area was a bit small and crowded, which made it difficult to find a seat during peak times.
