I had a fantastic stay at The Marton Arms in Ingleton. The staff were fantastic and managed to serve everyone with a smile and some banter. The hotel is in a very pretty location, opposite the local church. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent and the facilities were great. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is also ideally located for riding around the Dales, Lake District, and North Pennines.

Quiet location, warm rooms, potential for return. New management showing dedication. Friendly staff, good food, lovely view. Hardworking Steve, attentive breakfast staff, well looked after. Excellent service, exceptional even for US standards.

We were offered quick and efficient solutions to any issues that arose. the food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious and the location provided easy access to many popular hiking trails in the area.

These small issues were outweighed by the excellent service and food provided by the staff. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

I had a fantastic stay at a cozy hotel in this charming village. The hotel's cleanliness was impeccable, with a spacious and comfortable room. The hotel facilities were top-notch, including the bar and restaurant which served excellent food. The location was perfect, situated opposite a picturesque local church and close enough to the local road network for easy exploration of the surrounding area. The staff were friendly and attentive, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The location of the hotel is fantastic for exploring the lakes and waterfalls. We enjoyed the evening meal, it was absolutely delicious and worth the money. The staff were really friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The bar had a well-priced selection of pints and the atmosphere was great. The village location was peaceful and quiet.

Just one small thing that could make the breakfast even better would be to improve the mushrooms.

Marton Arms provided a lovely atmosphere and a great place to stay.

Attentive Family Ownership

We had a fantastic stay at a rejuvenated hostelry in Ingleton. The attention to period detailing from the toilets to the bedrooms was impressive. The large tables and chairs in the dining rooms were perfect for our group, and the built-in bench seats added a nice touch. The variety of real ales, lagers, ciders, gins, wines, and spirits was impressive. But the real surprise was the fine dining experience. The food was excellent and the service was top-notch. It was great to see the owner, Heather, working tirelessly to ensure a pleasant customer experience. The WiFi availability and the fact that dogs and kids were welcome were also a plus. I highly recommend this hostelry on the Pennines for a great experience.

Stayed at a smashing old pub and hotel in a great location. the staff at Marton Arms were really helpful, friendly, and efficient. the rooms were nice and comfy, and there was plenty of parking space available. the bar had excellent beers and I enjoyed a very tasty 3-course dinner. the breakfast was excellent too. Highly recommended!

The hotel facilities were well maintained, and the parking provided was convenient. It was in a lovely country setting yet close enough to the local road network to explore the area. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the friendly service provided by the staff.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in several ways. the value for money was fantastic. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail throughout the hotel. Secondly, the location of this hotel was perfect for exploring the Yorkshire Dales or the Lake District. Situated opposite the charming church, it offered a picturesque setting. Additionally, the staff and service were top-notch. The friendly and helpful staff made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Lastly, the rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, with some even boasting a lovely 4 poster bed and stunning views of the countryside. And I must mention the breakfast, which not only tasted delicious but also allowed me to enjoy beautiful views across the fields.
