As longer term business travelers, we were delighted with the newly renovated rooms and spaciousness. The hotel's central location, just a 5-minute walk from the iconic minster, made it incredibly convenient. The private car park was a great perk. The staff, especially Stuart and the young lady at the front desk, were incredibly attentive, ensuring our stay was enjoyable. The freshly cooked breakfast was a delightful start to our day. we found our stay at the hotel well worth it.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of York centre and the city walls. It is also close to local bars, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with amenities such as a TV, hairdryer, and toiletries provided. The staff are polite and friendly, and the breakfast selection is excellent.

There was an incident involving noisy guests in a neighboring room during one guest's stay, which disrupted their sleep.

Stayed over Easter weekend and had a perfect stay! the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even better. the rooms were clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. the breakfast was absolutely amazing, with lots of delicious options to choose from. the hotel is also in a great location, within walking distance to all the attractions and center. We couldn't have asked for a better hotel in terms of service, amenities, and location!

The only thing we didn't like was the bathroom door. It was a double door that felt a bit flimsy and didn't have a lock.

The hotel is in a very good area within walking distance of the best places to visit. It is very close to the attractions and all in all a really memorable place. The rooms have recently been refurbished to a very high standard and the bathroom is exceptional. We were lucky to have a room with a 4 poster bed, which added a touch of elegance. The breakfast was delicious, with perfect poached eggs and hot food items being cooked to order. The staff were friendly and efficient, ensuring that our tea and coffee was always topped up. this hotel offers excellent value for money.

Just returned from a weekend getaway at The Minster Hotel. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was brilliant, close to the train station and city center. Spacious room with a huge bed. Great selection of tea and coffee with complimentary biscuits. On-site car park at a reasonable price. Excellent breakfast buffet with a variety of choices. This hotel is now my go-to when visiting York.

This hotel is great, especially for the price. The attention to detail is excellent, from the clean and spacious rooms overlooking the quiet courtyard, to the friendly and attentive staff. The location is perfect too, with just a short walk to the city center where you can enjoy the hustle and bustle of York. Plus, the onsite parking facilities are a huge bonus.

The walls were thin, and we could hear noise from the street and other guests in nearby rooms. the pillows were uncomfortable and the bed was too hard for our liking, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
