The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met. One aspect that stood out was the attention to detail, with the rooms boasting superb pillows that provided a comfortable night's sleep. Moreover, the hotel offered single beds with an amazing view, allowing me to relax and enjoy the picturesque scenery.

I recently stayed at The Moorland Hotel for the second time, this time visiting family in Plymouth. The location just outside the city and on the edge of Dartmoor National Park was perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the suite was spacious and clean. The views from the window were fantastic, and it was great to see wildlife like horses in the car park. The TV and coffee making facilities were good, and the food in the restaurant was excellent. a welcoming and dog-friendly hotel that I would highly recommend.

This hotel is a hidden gem on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and fantastic walking trails right on your doorstep. The staff here are incredibly friendly and will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The rooms are tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds and some even have balconies overlooking the picturesque surroundings. The attention to detail is impressive, from the superb pillows that allowed me to rest my tired head to the breakfast included, which was served promptly and was delicious. All of this at a great value for money - I couldn't ask for more!

As young people, we loved the fantastic views, friendly staff, and surprisingly excellent food at The Moorland Hotel. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and the balcony room was a nice bonus.

We booked this place for a peaceful getaway before supporting our beloved Oxford football team. Room 10 impressed us with its balcony and breathtaking views. The restaurant exceeded our expectations with its excellent food and service. The hotel's recent room upgrades were noticeable and much appreciated. Despite its unassuming appearance, the location was perfect for our early morning ferry. The breakfast, with its delicious food and beautiful views, was a great way to start the day. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely return when we're back in Plymouth.
