The location of the hotel was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views all around. the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. the food at the hotel was superb, with delicious options and generous portion sizes. We especially loved the full English breakfast, perfect for starting the day. the four poster bedroom we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with lovely views from both windows. the en-suite Jacuzzi bath was a luxurious touch that we thoroughly enjoyed.

The pillows were quite hard, which made it a little uncomfortable to sleep on. the floorboards creaked everywhere, but we understand that this is to be expected in an old building.

Recently stayed at The Mortal Man Inn for a short getaway. The location in Troutbeck Valley was excellent, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The food was excellent, with a well-stocked bar offering a great selection of gin and beer. The south-facing beer garden was a perfect spot to enjoy a drink and take in the beautiful scenery.

Our stay at the Mortal Man was fantastic. The view and location were absolutely stunning. We couldn't get enough of the breathtaking scenery. The breakfast was delicious, and the bed was so comfortable, we had a great night's sleep. Despite some minor issues mentioned in other reviews, we found the room clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this inn for a memorable stay in the beautiful countryside.

The attention to detail throughout the hotel was impressive, and the breakfast options were plentiful, with a great range on offer.

As young travelers, we absolutely loved the fact that we could bring our furry friend along with us and enjoy delicious pub food in the evenings. The view from our room was simply breathtaking and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff at the hotel were friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel special. We were given a tour of the property upon arrival and the garden room for evening meals offered stunning views. The jacuzzi bath and four poster bed added a touch of luxury to our stay. this inn exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it. The credit goes to the amazing staff!

The value for money at this hotel is fabulous. With reasonable prices, it's definitely worth a stay. The location is lovely, tucked away off the beaten track with a sunny aspect and amazing views. If you are traveling with a dog, the area around the hotel is great for walking your furry friend. The staff provide excellent service and are attentive to detail. The basic amenities in the rooms are satisfactory, especially considering we had our dog with us.

All in all, everything was okay.
