As longer term business travelers, we appreciated the attentive and friendly staff. The hotel had a great location next to the river, providing a serene atmosphere. The room was well furnished and the beds were very comfortable. The vintage-style decor added to the charm of the hotel. The food at our family function was fresh, tasty, and well presented. The hotel also had a wonderful restaurant with an interesting menu and a good wine list. we were impressed with the facilities and amenities offered.

The menu for breakfast lacked options for toast, with only sourdough available. It would be great to have a range of toast offerings, such as white bread, to cater to different preferences.

The hotel's location was convenient, being a short walk from my son's place. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, even storing my medication in their wine fridge. The room was quiet despite the busy area, and the vintage decor gave it a charming vibe. The restaurant served delicious meals, and the breakfast choices were varied. The car park felt safe.

There was a comfortable seating area with a large TV and a dressing table/desk with tea and coffee facilities. the bed was large and extremely comfortable, and the air conditioning was a bonus. the breakfast buffet was good with fresh fruit and a variety of cereals. the cooked breakfast was exceptional, with top quality bacon and sausage, perfect scrambled eggs, and delicious rosti. the service was excellent too. the hotel had a wine shop/bar and sold their own candles, wine, and preserves.

The shower was small and the water soaked my hair. the water also came over the top of the doors and wet the floor, which could be a health and safety issue.

The hotel provided excellent facilities, including ample parking and an easy walking distance to the town center and river. The cleanliness of the property was impeccable, down to the smallest details. The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic stay. The hotel offered a delicious breakfast and the turbot and lemon sole dishes were perfectly cooked.
