The location of this accommodation was fantastic for our Easter getaway. It was conveniently close to town, with great eateries just a short walk away. the host was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, giving us all the local information we needed. the garden was a delightful surprise, providing a peaceful and relaxing spot to unwind. Plus, the breakfast options were outstanding, with an abundance of fresh fruit to choose from.

we mistakenly thought the accommodation was connected to a pub, which led to some initial confusion. there was some noise from the room above early in the morning, which made it difficult to sleep in.

The smallest twin room was clean and comfortable. The host was welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was amazing, with a lovely menu and fresh fruit salad from the garden. Julie, the host, treated my 3-year-old daughter as a real person, making her feel special. The hotel is conveniently located, with walkable access to Totnes High Street. I will definitely return to this lovely place in the future.

We had a delightful stay at a lovely B&B in Totnes. The ambience was superb and the new owners, Julie and Mike, were an absolute delight. Despite the ongoing refurbishment, the place has so much potential and I can't wait to see it when it's fully complete. The location was also perfect, just a short walk away from Totnes town, which was a great asset.

The hotel offers a range of excellent services such as car hire, dry cleaning, and housekeeping. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with amenities such as ironing facilities and a lovely sitting area. The hotel also has a beautiful garden with garden furniture, perfect for relaxing in. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a bonus, allowing us to stay connected throughout our stay. We were impressed with the friendly staff and the delicious breakfast made with local fresh produce. we highly recommend this place for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

This hidden gem is a great find for a short stay. The central location, tucked away in a quiet area, allows for a peaceful retreat while still being close to the bustling center of town. The hosts go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome, providing useful information and serving a delicious freshly cooked breakfast in the light and airy dining area.

The only minor downside was the slightly unemotional demeanor of the owner, but this in no way detracted from the overall positive experience at this lovely place.

Had a fantastic Easter break! the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. They offered great recommendations for dining and local attractions. the rooms were spotless and the breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. Loved the fresh fruit salad, it was a delightful touch. the location was also perfect, just a short walk to the town center and the beautiful River Dart. On-site parking was a convenient bonus.

The room we stayed in was a bit on the smaller side, especially the shower room which was cramped. the lighting in the room could have been better.

Not many, but the bathroom was slightly small and cramped for a tall person, making it difficult to get around comfortably. the Wi-Fi signal was weak at times, and connecting multiple devices proved to be a challenge.

I had a fantastic stay at The Old Forge. The property was spotlessly clean and perfectly located. The garden was a peaceful sanctuary with beautiful shrubs and flowers. The breakfast options were great, especially for a vegan like me. The town and river were just a short walk away, making it convenient to explore. The owner, Julia, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She even called around to find us a place to eat when we arrived. The full English breakfast she prepared was cooked to perfection. I hope to have the opportunity to rebook in the future and truly explore all that The Old Forge has to offer. I highly recommend this hotel.
