The location was perfect for walking, with direct access to the dales. The pub served good beer and hearty food, and the cottage we stayed in was adequately equipped for our needs. The beds were comfortable and well laid out, and the staff at the pub were welcoming. The property offered privacy and a peaceful atmosphere, with a flowing river nearby.

Had a wonderful Christmas getaway in a cozy cottage surrounded by stunning countryside. the location was perfect for exploring the beautiful walks nearby, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the cottage itself was well-equipped, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. We loved being able to escape from the chaos of everyday life and truly relax in the peaceful surroundings.

While our overall experience was positive, there were a few minor issues. the check-in process took longer than expected, leaving us waiting in the cold and damp.

The location was perfect for walking and the nearby river was a pleasant surprise. the pub on-site was excellent for a meal and a drink. the property was private and secluded, away from the noise of the pub.

The shower was only warm at maximum setting and the bathroom sink plug was stuck. the lack of basic utilities for self-catering was also a drawback.

Great location with beautiful views of the surrounding hills. Friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money. The pub provides excellent evening meals and drinks. The accommodation is pet friendly. The property is private and away from the noise of the pub. Everything needed for a short stay is provided.

I had a fantastic stay at a cozy cottage with stunning views. The check-in process was easy, and a pleasant lady escorted me to the cottage. The apartment was very clean, and there were plenty of sleeping choices with crisp bedding. The heating and lamps were turned on before my arrival, making everything more cozy. The pub next door served amazing food, and the staff couldn't do enough to make my stay comfortable.

During my recent stay at the Old Nag's Head, I was impressed with the amazing location. Being just behind one of the nicest pubs I've ever been to and situated at the start and end of the Kinder Scout trail, it was the perfect spot for outdoor enthusiasts like myself. The staff at the pub were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make our late check-in smooth. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the cottage/flat had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. Additionally, the availability of a parking space was a bonus. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the squeaky bunk beds and the lack of some toiletries, I would definitely recommend this property to others. my experience at the Old Nag's Head was enjoyable and I would stay again.

Stayed at the Old Nag's Head Villa and had an amazing experience. the location was perfect, right behind a fantastic pub and at the start of the Kinder Scout / Jacob's Ladder trail. the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, even staying around for our late check-in at 1AM. the cottage was cozy, clean, and comfortable, and there were plenty of amenities available. the pub served delicious food, with a great selection of fresh vegetables. Plus, the beautiful surroundings offered plenty of opportunities for walking. Highly recommended!
