This hotel is perfectly situated on top of a hill in the center of the Cathedral area, with beautiful coloured stained glass windows and a traditional vibe. The staff are wonderful and the rooms have nice large shower cubicles with good facilities. Hot croissants are cooked to order for breakfast, making it a lovely start to the day.

Our stay at the Old Palace Lodge was great! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was excellent. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast provided. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and we appreciated the on-site parking. Despite some minor issues, like a broken window blind and intermittent WiFi, we understand that these can be difficult to fix in an old building. we had a wonderful experience and would happily stay again.

I had a fantastic stay at The Old Palace Lodge. The location was perfect, right next to Steep Hill and within easy reach of all the main areas in Lincoln. The secure off-road parking included was a great convenience. Upon arrival, I was delighted to find juices and milk in the fridge, which was a thoughtful touch. The room itself was very quiet and provided a tranquil atmosphere. I also appreciated the arrangement with a local cafe for hot breakfasts, which ensured a delicious start to the day.

Although my overall stay was wonderful, I did encounter a small issue with the electronic system to open the gate. It was not my favorite method of entry and I would have preferred a more traditional approach.

We had the best time during our thanksgiving stay. the hotel offered complimentary fresh milk and orange juice, which was amazing. the location was perfect, right next to the beautiful cathedral and in the heart of the city. the room was cosy and comfortable, with a fridge and a powerful shower that we loved.

The parking lot needs some renovation work. the staff at check-in were not as welcoming as we would have liked.

The hotel's location in the heart of the historic cathedral quarter allowed us to easily visit the ruins in 1644 during the Civil War and explore the major attractions of this lovely old town. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, and the hotel facilities, including the spacious suite and beautiful bathroom, exceeded our expectations. The only minor drawback was the breakfast, which was a bit average, but the hot made-to-order options were still enjoyable. we had a wonderful stay at The Old Palace Lodge and highly recommend it.
