We had the most wonderful time staying at this cozy cottage. It was the cleanest property we have ever seen, and the hosts provided everything we needed to maintain that standard. The bed and bedding were lovely, and the kitchen was very well equipped. Additionally, the location was excellent, with the ability to walk to the river in just a couple of minutes, as well as a local pub. Having a car was also very useful for visiting nearby attractions.

I had a fantastic stay at The Paddocks in Symonds Yat. The property was absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. The kitchen had all the necessary facilities, including a dishwasher, and there was plenty of crockery and cutlery. I loved the added touches like shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom. The WiFi and phone signal were great, which was a bonus. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and there were plenty of riverside and woodland walks nearby. The hosts were also very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place for a wonderful vacation.

The location of the cottages is exceptional, with great facilities and beautiful surroundings. Guests can enjoy lovely walks and even spot deer at night. You can also take advantage of amenities at the nearby hotel and enjoy a quick walk to a charming pub overlooking the stunning River Wye.

It had everything we needed and more. the well-equipped kitchen allowed us to cook our own meals, but we also enjoyed dining at the nearby restaurant. the massive towels were a nice touch, and our host, John, was kind and helpful. the cottage was spotless and situated in an ideal location for walking, with well-marked footpaths. Being by the river made for a beautiful stroll. Magnolia Cottage, where we stayed, was perfect for our family of three. the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels, including luxurious Egyptian cotton ones. As a bonus, there was a charming little Christmas tree for the holiday season. we highly recommend Paddocks Cottages for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Bright, with patio doors and outside space for al fresco breakfast. Lovely location near Forest of Dean. Helpful proprietor, would consider returning.

The only minor drawbacks were that the thermostat in the cottage was on a timer and didn't come on, making the evenings a bit chilly. However, the owner had provided a little heater which solved the issue.

We stayed at a beautiful bungalow that felt like a real home from home, with stunning views. the location was excellent, only 5 minutes from A40 but felt miles away from everywhere as it was so quiet. We enjoyed visiting the nearby pubs, the Wye Knot and Ye Olde Ferry Inn, which had a friendly and olde worlde atmosphere. the cottage was very clean and the view from the front was breathtaking. We even had a visit from two badgers during our stay. the cottage was well-equipped with everything we needed for self-catering, including little extra touches like washing up liquid, dishcloths, and tea towels. the kitchen had all the necessary utensils, which made cooking a breeze. the sitting room was comfortable, the bathroom was beautiful, and the bedroom had plenty of storage space.
