The Apotek hotel offers a convenient location for restaurants, bars, and tour collection points, making it perfect for couples. The complimentary bottle of prosecco for my partner's birthday was a lovely touch. The shower in the room was exceptional. The interior of the hotel is artsy and the staff is friendly. The hotel is situated next to a park, providing beautiful views from most rooms. The popular hotel restaurant serves excellent food, particularly the lamb and fish dishes. The hotel is also close to shops, museums, and other dining options. The in-room facilities, such as tea/coffee and TV, were great. The hotel also provides good wifi.

The hotel provided us with a free room upgrade and allowed us to use a room for a nap before check-in. The staff at the hotel were friendly, polite, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The location of the hotel was perfect, with major landmarks and shopping areas within a short walk. In addition, there was a 24-hour grocery store nearby, which was convenient for late-night snacks and saving money.

The bed was not extremely comfortable, but this may vary depending on personal preference. The price of the hotel may be a bit high for budget travelers, but it is within the normal price range for a regular city hotel.

The hotel's central location allowed us to easily explore the city's major attractions, and the friendly and helpful front desk staff provided us with great advice and recommendations throughout our stay. Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of ventilation in the room and the repetitive breakfast buffet options, these were easily overshadowed by the positive aspects of our stay.

The Apotek Hotel Reykjavik offers a fabulous location, centrally situated but away from the noisy/busiest part of the city center. The staff, especially Bjarni, were amazing and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. Bjarni saved the day when our tour was cancelled due to weather, promptly informing us and even calling our operator to confirm. He then helped us rent a car on the spot, providing us with tips and locations to explore on our own. The hotel also boasts clean, modern bathrooms with awesome water pressure.

The location of this hotel was perfect for us. It was right in the middle of the action, with loads of bars, supermarkets, and restaurants nearby. After a long day of sightseeing, it was nice to have everything within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom had a big shower with multiple spray heads. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options, including fried eggs over easy, different types of breads, and fresh fruit.

We were disappointed to find out that the on-site parking was not available, even though it had been listed in the hotel description.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel located in the heart of Iceland's capital city. It was incredibly convenient, as it was close to the Grayline bus tour service, which we used to book tours and for transport to and from the airport. The hotel was also near enough to bars and restaurants to walk to and in the city centre, close to everything in the city. The room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and a walk-in shower. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The restaurant was a bit overpriced compared to other options in the area.
