We stayed at The Pig-In The Wall for a weekend getaway and were pleasantly surprised by the fabulous room and comfortable bed. As a bonus, we were upgraded to a room that had the old castle walls, adding a unique charm to our stay. The buffet breakfast was fresh and enjoyable with a great selection. The small and charming atmosphere, along with the friendly and helpful staff, made our experience even better. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Southampton. The hotel's excellent location was an added bonus.

Had a lovely Christmas stay! the room was cozy with a massive bed and a fantastic shower. the staff were welcoming and really helpful. the hotel had excellent parking on site, which was a huge plus. the location was great, with key attractions nearby and easy access to everything. the breakfast selection was excellent, with freshly made ingredients and a wide choice. a delightful experience!

The lack of a restaurant on-site, only a deli for snacks. the prices for the snacks seemed quite high, making it an expensive option.

The noise from the occupants above can be a bit disruptive, especially for light sleepers.

my overnight stay at the pig-in the wall was even better than my previous visit to southampton. the warm hospitality of the staff and the charming atmosphere made me feel immediately welcome. the room was incredibly comfortable, with luxurious amenities and thoughtful touches that made my stay memorable. i can't wait to stay at another "pig" property in the uk!

Narrow staircase was challenging for disabled parents.

We had an amazing stay at this boutique hotel. The "spacious" room was indeed very spacious, with a wonderful freestanding bathtub and a big shower. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the hotel facilities were great. The staff were very thoughtful and made our stay extra special, even providing birthday surprises for my fiance. The location was excellent, within walking distance to the city center and close to the pier and cruise ships.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the cruise terminal and very close to the Red Funnel ferries.
