celebrating our anniversary in edinburgh and decided to stay again at this lovely hotel, exceeded our expectations with comfortable beds, helpful staff, and a beautiful bar. the lighting in the bedroom was a nice touch. even went above and beyond by posting my forgotten keys! highly recommend place for a great stay.

I had the most delightful surprise during my stay at Place Hotel. Upon check-in, I was upgraded to a superior suite, which was absolutely amazing! The room was spacious and beautifully decorated with a Harry Potter-esque theme. It even had a selection of books to enjoy. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom was also spacious and included both a bath and a large shower.

The Place Hotel was a fantastic choice for our recent stay. The staff were warm and welcoming, and we were given a free room upgrade. The rooms were clean and modern, with comfortable beds and all the necessary amenities. The breakfast selection was excellent, with a variety of options to choose from.

The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to public transportation and a nearby pub for a great night out. The rooms are well-organized and comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The staff is friendly and always available to assist with any needs.

The variety of food options at the hotel was limited and somewhat overpriced.

The location was perfect, just a few minutes walk from Princes St and at the end of the tram line. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast and dinner at the hotel.

Great complimentary breakfast and friendly staff. Very central location with easy access to attractions and restaurants. the room was spacious and well furnished with comfortable beds.

No air conditioning in our room made it unbearable during hot days. It was situated at the top of the hotel, which was quite a climb up the stairs.

All in all a very good place to stay when visiting. It is right in the centre of the city, so near everything. The location is away from the main area at Princes Street, ensuring a quieter stay. The front of house staff is friendly and helpful. The bed is comfortable. The breakfast is lovely, especially the delicious French toast. The view from some rooms is stunning, overlooking Leith.

The room may be small and basic, lacking in space and storage options.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The location was fantastic, with everything of interest just a 10 minute walk away. I was also pleased to find the hotel across from the bus station, and near several great bus lines and the tram to the airport. On level -1 facing the street, my room had a sitting area, tea and coffee facilities, and even a dining table. I also appreciated the hotel's wonderful staff, and the great room amenities such as heating, air conditioning, and free wi-fi.

This place is highly recommended to all.

Lovely except for breakfast

We had a lovely stay at a centrally located, modern hotel. Our room had a beautiful view of the city. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even making us an early breakfast. The only downside was the pre-cooked breakfast, lacking options and served in flasks. However, this small flaw didn't overshadow the overall positive experience. We would recommend this hotel to others.
