Our stay at the Plough was absolutely flawless and felt like a home away from home. The Torsin suite exceeded our expectations and we cancelled our anniversary plans to stay there again. The location is great, with early check-in and friendly service. The pub and restaurant downstairs had a welcoming atmosphere with a log fire and comfortable seating. The breakfast was good and overall it was an excellent stay.

As women travelling alone, we felt completely safe and comfortable during our stay. The staff were attentive, making sure all our needs were met.

The warm and comfortable room, generous bathroom, and high-quality room supplies, including a coffee machine and fresh milk, made for a perfect stay. However, the staff quickly moved me to a fabulous room with an amazing bathroom. The restaurant at the inn had excellent food and service, and the prices were reasonable for the quality. The decor and design of the bar, restaurant, and rooms added to the overall charm of the inn. I would definitely recommend this gem of a place.

our stay at the plough inn in lupton was even better than before. the upgraded room with a private sitting room was a pleasant surprise. spacious and stylish, with a spotlessly clean bathroom and underfloor heating. the staff were helpful and made us feel welcome, especially the grandchildren. the cooked breakfast was generous and delicious.

The sun terrace and garden area were stunning for relaxing, while our room had many exclusive advantages that made us feel like royalty. The restaurant and bar/lounge area featured unique menus and a private facility for an intimate dining experience. Being in close proximity to prime attractions and special locations only added to the convenience and allure of this venue.

While our stay was overall phenomenal, we did experience a minor issue with the picnic area and tables. The special diet menus were not as extensive as we had hoped, although they had options available for those with dietary restrictions.

Our room, The Redman, was spacious and gorgeously decorated, with a bathroom that was just as big as the bedroom. Everything was spotlessly clean, and we were provided with lovely toiletries. We will definitely be returning to this gem of a hotel!
