There were a few minor cleanliness issues in some areas of the hotel, such as dust and a hair in the bath. However, these were isolated incidents and did not significantly impact the overall experience.

Beautiful surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere. the check-in process was smooth and the receptionist was friendly and professional. the restaurant offered a great selection of dishes, including fish massala cakes, Korean pork belly, and tandoori cod. the flavors were delicious and the presentation was impressive. the beer was reasonably priced at £51.

the duvet on the bed was too thin and poorly fitted, offering no overhang and making it uncomfortable to sleep. the breakfast service was slow and not suitable for those with a tight schedule.

the location by the river was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. the spacious room with a lovely view exceeded our expectations. the food in the restaurant was freshly cooked and delicious.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel. The location is absolutely stunning, situated right on the river with a fabulous view. The building itself is charming and has been beautifully restored to a very high standard. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and equipped with everything I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had one of the best nights of sleep in a long time. The bathroom was impressive, with a spacious shower and great amenities. The staff were friendly and attentive, always making sure I had everything I needed. They even helped me with some printing, which was super helpful. the service was fantastic, and the staff made me feel welcome and well taken care of.

I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

The Priest House On The River provides a beautiful location for a getaway in mid-March. The hotel is situated on the river bank, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. In case of bad weather, the indoor spaces such as the marriage and dining rooms, as well as the bar area, would provide a cozy environment. There is even a section overlooking the river near the water wheel, which adds to the charm of the place. The room we stayed in was comfortable and warm, with a spacious bathroom. The service was attentive and friendly, ensuring a pleasant stay. The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide range of options including gluten-free alternatives. the hotel offers various facilities like a bar and restaurant, making it convenient for guests.

It would have been even better if there were more gluten-free options available on the dinner menu to cater to different dietary needs.

Stayed for a weekend getaway and was impressed with the friendly staff and delicious food. the location is perfect for city exploration, with easy access to public transportation and plenty of nearby attractions to visit. The value for money at this hotel was excellent, with room rates equivalent to a Travelodge but with much more character and charm.
