The restaurant offered a great selection of dishes, including fish massala cakes, Korean pork belly, and tandoori cod. The flavors were delicious and the presentation was impressive. the beer was reasonably priced at £51.

There were a few disappointments during my stay. the duvet on the bed was too thin and poorly fitted, offering no overhang and making it uncomfortable to sleep.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel. The location is absolutely stunning, situated right on the river with a fabulous view. The building itself is charming and has been beautifully restored to a very high standard. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and equipped with everything I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had one of the best nights of sleep in a long time. The bathroom was impressive, with a spacious shower and great amenities. The staff were friendly and attentive, always making sure I had everything I needed. They even helped me with some printing, which was super helpful. the service was fantastic, and the staff made me feel welcome and well taken care of.

I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

In case of bad weather, the indoor spaces such as the marriage and dining rooms, as well as the bar area, would provide a cozy environment. There is even a section overlooking the river near the water wheel, which adds to the charm of the place. The room we stayed in was comfortable and warm, with a spacious bathroom. The service was attentive and friendly, ensuring a pleasant stay. The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide range of options including gluten-free alternatives. the hotel offers various facilities like a bar and restaurant, making it convenient for guests.

It would have been even better if there were more gluten-free options available on the dinner menu to cater to different dietary needs.
