Our room at Railway Sleeper Lodge was situated next to the front door, which initially concerned us. However, the noise from the door did not disrupt our sleep at night, and we were able to rest comfortably. The rooms were clean and tidy, and we appreciated the convenience of having a fridge and microwave in our room. The location of the lodge was ideal, as it was close to the train station and Colchester. Additionally, the parking area provided a safe spot for our vehicle. we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel.

As foreign tourists, we really appreciated the convenient location, close to the train station and Colchester. The room set up with a single room connected to a double room was perfect for our family. The presence of a fridge and microwave in the room was very useful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with comfy beds. The complementary bottle of water and carton of orange juice for each of us was a nice touch. We were also glad that we could bring our dog along with us. Parking was safe and convenient, located behind the building.

We felt totally at home during our stay and had no reason to complain.
