We loved our stay at this amazing place, the Seagate! The rooms had stunning views and the breakfasts were fantastic. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was so relaxing. We visit Appledore often and this place is a hidden gem.

I had the most relaxing trip at The Seagate in Appledore. The hotel was absolutely lovely, with a cozy and nicely decorated room overlooking the quay. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious and the service was top-notch. I also enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the hotel. Although there isn't much in Appledore itself, it was the perfect place to unwind and chill out. And if you're looking for more things to do, Bideford and other attractions are just a short drive away. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly enjoyable stay.

Nothing not to love.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel. the location right on the estuary provided me with breathtaking views over to Instow. I couldn't resist taking countless photos of the beautiful scenes. Secondly, the staff were amazing, always friendly and attentive to any requests I had. Lastly, the rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, with good facilities to ensure a pleasant stay. I also loved starting my day with a delicious breakfast, which came with a view. The sausages were particularly tasty!

The location was perfect, right in the heart of Appledore, with a great view of the quay from our room. The family room was spacious and had a large bed. The breakfast had a great variety, catering to vegetarians and gluten-free diets. The dinner options were also excellent, with a wide range to choose from. The room was spacious and well-furnished, with a comfortable bed and a large TV. the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the hotel was dog-friendly, which was a big plus. the food was decent, with a good menu selection, and there were some tasty dishes available. the location of the hotel provided beautiful views, adding to the overall experience.

I had a truly amazing stay at Seagate! The location was perfect, with stunning views of the estuary from my spacious room. The bar and restaurant were impeccably clean and beautifully presented. The food and service were excellent, both for dinner and breakfast. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. I also appreciated their dog-friendly policy, as I brought my Lab Retriever along. it was a great experience and I will definitely be returning.

The only minor inconvenience was the limited parking at the hotel, but there was a large public car park just a short distance away.
