The value for money was excellent, with a clean and well-presented room that had all the amenities I needed. The location was perfect, with a beautiful beach within easy walking distance. But what really stood out was the warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home.

The only thing that could have been better was the breakfast selection, which could have had more variety.

We had a fantastic stay at the Ship Inn. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel at ease and welcomed. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and there was plenty of tea and coffee provided. Even though the pub didn't have a food menu on Sunday, they offered complimentary cheese and crackers, which was a nice touch. the young couple who ran the bar created a great atmosphere, and the location was excellent, with ample parking and easy access to walking routes. the breakfast was delicious with a variety of choices. a home away from home experience that we would highly recommend.

We got so much value for our money at The Ship Inn. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy, with a big TV and a super comfy bed. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw from the shore and in a quiet little spot. The staff treated us like family, and the couple running the place were lovely, clearly putting a lot of thought and work into making our stay enjoyable. The locals also clearly love this pub, making it a lively and welcoming place to socialize. And let's not forget the great local beers and selection of gins and wines. We couldn't have asked for more.

Spent Xmas at a quiet hotel in a remote area and I must say it was a lovely experience. the hotel owners were friendly and accommodating, always checking up on us, ensuring our stay was as comfortable as possible. the room was tidy, warm and had a lovely view of the surroundings. the food was also quite nice and worth mentioning was the unlimited supply of tea and coffee at breakfast.

Although the hotel was nice, it was way too quiet for our liking as Xmas is a time for celebration. getting to the hotel was a real challenge, especially for someone unfamiliar with the area, GPS kept twisting and turning us through winding roads.

This hotel is located in a picturesque little village, close to the sea, with friendly and welcoming residents. The attention to detail in the rooms is impressive, with quirky touches that add character. The corner shower enclosure with a power shower is a great addition, and the lovely soft white towels are changed every day. The breakfast included in the price offers plenty of choice and the staff provide excellent service.

Parking can be a bit inconvenient during peak times.

My first venture into this little corner of south Lakeland was a delightful experience. the Ship Inn, a lovely old Inn privately owned, served a great selection of drinks, including the excellent Ulverston real ales. the friendly locals made me feel like a part of the village, and the proprietors Katie, Rob, and Gwen were fantastic hosts. the location was perfect, with easy access to the main Lakeland attractions and a short walk to the beach. My room was clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere of the small pub was charming. I can't wait to visit again in the summer.

This hotel in a lovely little village was perfect for a game of golf at Ulverston. The good food and drinks after a round were just what we needed. Plus, the location was ideal for exploring the local area, whether it's the beautiful Lake District or the nearby coast. The rooms, which were surprisingly spacious, were decorated beautifully and provided all the basic amenities we needed. And the breakfast, despite a kitchen issue, was fantastic, offering a great selection of both cooked and continental options, along with plenty of tea and coffee.

Despite a few minor issues with noise, the nights were peaceful and we had a great night's sleep. we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend the Ship Inn for a memorable stay.
