Great location near the river, beautiful views. Staff were friendly and helpful, even replaced our drink when a wasp got in it. the evening meal was delicious and the breakfast was really nice.

Road noise during the day was a bit annoying, but it quieted down at night. the room wasn't heated and two of the lamps were without bulbs.

The master suite with a walk-in shower was perfect for our group of friends. Lovely staff, warm room, comfy bed, and clean bathroom. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was freshly cooked. a pleasant stay.

Our recent stay at the Spread Eagle was truly delightful. The beautiful location and breathtaking views created the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. The food served at both dinner and breakfast was absolutely superb. We especially loved dining by the river bank and taking in the priceless view. Room 10 was incredibly comfortable, with a spacious and cozy super king bed. We also appreciated the availability of hand sanitizing stations throughout the property.

Although there were a couple of minor drawbacks, such as the room being a little warm for our taste , these small inconveniences did not at all overshadow our enjoyable stay. I highly recommend the Spread Eagle for a memorable and relaxing retreat.

We had a fantastic stay in this charming old pub in a beautiful location in the Forest of Bowland. The hotel facilities were great, with comfortable rooms that were very clean and had en suite bathrooms. The breakfast was outstanding, with a delightful full English option and delicious poached eggs on toast with bacon. The staff were friendly, polite, and accommodating. Plus, it was lovely to sit by the river with a beer and enjoy the picturesque Ribble Valley.

The food in the restaurant was delicious, and I especially enjoyed the fabulous lunch I had in the cosy bar by the open fire. Despite a few minor drawbacks such as weak Wi-Fi and slightly uncomfortable pillows, I would still highly recommend this hotel. it was a fantastic experience and I can't wait to return.

They even offered a welcome drink upon arrival. The room was spacious and had all the necessary amenities, including ironing facilities and a sitting area. The hotel also had a lush garden with comfortable garden furniture where I could relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Upon arrival at the hotel after a long day of golf, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and friendly welcome from the staff. Even though it was late, they went out of their way to ensure our comfort and even offered to prepare food for our party. The level of service provided was exceptional and a true credit to the management team.
