I appreciated the helpfulness of the manager and staff, who accommodated my mobility issues. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely return when visiting the area again.

The building had a charming, old-world look and the interior was beautifully decorated with unique wall hangings and features. The pub was popular and the food was fantastic. The manager and staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to accommodate my mobility issues. They even changed our room to a ground floor one upon arrival. The room itself was clean and tidy, with contemporary furnishings and curtains. The bed was comfortable, the duvet light, and the linen fresh. The shower temperature was perfect. The breakfast selection was great, with a delicious vegetarian sausage option. They also provided alternative milk upon request. The evening menu was equally impressive, with a variety of delectable alternative dishes.

I had the most wonderful stay at Star Bed & Breakfast. the woman who runs the Inn is simply amazing. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and went above and beyond to ensure that all the guests had everything they needed. I was so impressed when I arrived to find that my room had been pre-heated for my comfort. It was clean and cosy, and the entire place had a lovely atmosphere. the breakfast was absolutely delicious and made to order, with options that would easily cost around £10 elsewhere. I was truly impressed and can't wait to book again for next year.

Loved everything! This was our second stay at Database pros. We stayed for just 2 nights this time and were impressed by the spaciousness of Room 2 compared to our previous upstairs room. The room was beautifully presented, and we appreciated having a door with temperatures dropping. The meals at the restaurant were fantastic, both breakfast and dinner. A big thank you to the staff for providing a delicious take-out dinner for our second evening. The Star offers everything you would want from a home away from home - great food, attentive staff, and comfortable rooms.

Lovely proprietors, friendly and efficient staff, great location, plenty parking, good bar. The best places are run by people who love what they do - and Leah and Dave clearly do. Special mention for the food: I have a couple of food intolerances which makes it really hard to eat out most of the time. I can honestly say that I've never had so many menu options as I did here. They even got me some sausages for breakfast that I could eat - fantastic. As a final note - don't forget to meet their two gorgeous doggies.

just had a wonderful stay in West Leake. star b&b was more than impressive - friendly staff, comfy rooms with complimentary goodies, and a delicious breakfast that kept me full all day. can't wait to go back to visit my son at uni. highly recommended!

Food was a letdown. unpleasant burger and weird granola ruined my meals.

We recently had a fantastic stay at a charming bed and breakfast in a lovely location. The warm welcome we received from the staff made us feel right at home. They even went above and beyond by offering to keep our room open for our son to shower after his cross-country event. The breakfast and dinner were both exceptional, with a great variety of options to choose from. The owners clearly love what they do, and their passion shines through in every aspect of the experience. We also appreciated the spacious and well-appointed rooms, as well as the convenience of ample parking. The beer garden and covered veranda were perfect for enjoying a drink and relaxing in the beautiful surroundings. And a special mention for the food, as they were able to accommodate my food intolerances and provided delicious options for me. Lastly, we couldn't forget the two adorable dogs that greeted us with wagging tails.

The value for money at Star Bed & Breakfast was exceptional, with a room that had a cozy and modern country feel. The location was great, especially if you need to be near the East Midlands Airport, and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and taken care of.
