I recently stayed at a fantastic inn in Bishopdale called The Street Head Inn. As a budget traveler, I was delighted with the superb quiet location and the great walks in every direction. The large comfortable room with en-suite facilities and old furniture provided a charming atmosphere. The views, especially from the window seat, were absolutely wonderful. I was also impressed with the choice of hot breakfast and hearty evening meals, which were delicious and satisfying. I highly recommend this inn for its historic charm, convivial atmosphere, and lovely surroundings.

I felt extremely welcome during my stay at The Street Head Inn. The staff, chef, and landlord were all friendly and went out of their way to assist me.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff were outstanding, friendly, and polite. The location is picturesque, in a lovely rural area. The room was spacious, clean, warm, and cosy, with a beautiful view. The breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of choices. We also enjoyed eating informally in the bar area.

Really old and characterful building, excellent position for visiting surrounding villages, friendly staff, very good food, enjoyable evening in public area. Very welcoming and homely pub, lovely staff, clean room with lovely view, delicious food, generous portions.

Spending Christmas at this cozy inn was a delightful experience. the food was fantastic – everything was cooked to order and always fresh. the breakfast was incredibly satisfying, and I couldn't get enough of their hot chocolate. the location was stunning with breathtaking surroundings of hills and valleys, perfect for a winter walk and a spot of fresh air. the staff was so kind, heartwarming and made our stay even more charming with their excellent customer service.

Mobile phone signal was limited, which can be expected in such a rural location. However, it was nice to unplug and enjoy our holiday without being too dependent on our devices.

As adventure travelers, we loved the rural setting of the inn and the breathtaking view from our room. The staff was friendly, attentive, and provided us with a delicious and personalized breakfast. The staff were friendly and professional, always ready to help. The food was excellent, with big portions and lots of choices. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a view of the mountains. The hotel had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with a wood-burning fire and original features.

The service could have been more attentive, as I had to ask to be served and for menus. Some items were missing from our order.

I gotta say, for the price we paid, the value was unbeatable. The room was cozy and had everything we needed, including a comfy bed and a spacious bathroom. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring the Dales and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend the Street Head Inn!

Breakfast option could use a little improvement.

I had a delightful stay at a charming inn nestled in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales. The steak & ale pie served with fresh veg, homemade chips, and boat of gravy was absolutely delicious. The spacious room offered a serene countryside view and a comfortable king size bed. The friendly and attentive staff made me feel welcome throughout my stay. I highly recommend this inn for a relaxing and enjoyable break.

The hotel's location by beautiful hills was stunning, providing fantastic views. The room was lovely, and the private entrance outside of the main pub added a unique touch. The staff were friendly and considerate, making my stay enjoyable. The breakfast was very good, with a wide selection of high-quality toiletries provided in the room.

The Street Head Inn is located in a fantastic area surrounded by spectacular scenery. The inn offers a variety of rooms, including a cozy and spacious room in what appeared to be the old granary with a private entrance. Guests have praised the cleanliness of the facilities, comfortable beds, and the friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is delicious and filling, and the conservatory dining area provides a great atmosphere for meals.

One negative aspect mentioned by guests is that the pool room, where some guests were placed for dinner, lacked ambiance and cosiness.
