We had a short but wonderful stay at The Sun Inn. The staff were friendly and amazing, and the full English breakfast was absolutely delicious. The room was perfect for our needs, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The location was great, and all the staff we interacted with were fantastic. The food was very good, with a varied menu that can cater to most people. Prices were reasonable, and we only wished we had stayed longer.

The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the center of Windermere. It's like being by the beach with the waves of the lake so close by. Plus, it's a great base to explore the beautiful Lakes. The room was clean and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom that had all the necessary amenities. The staff provided friendly and helpful service, ensuring a pleasant stay. The breakfast was delicious, and there were plenty of teas and coffees in the room. , the hotel had good car parking facilities.

The pub had a nice atmosphere, and the new management was eager to please. The breakfast was heavenly and the surrounding area was perfect for exploring. No hesitation in recommending this hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located near the lake, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Cannot find any fault.

The location was ideal, situated between Ambleside and Windermere, making it a convenient base for exploring the Lakes. To get to Lake Windermere, a taxi was needed if you didn't want to drive or walk. The staff were friendly and supportive, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a big mirror and the water pressure in the shower was great. The breakfast was delicious, and there was ample parking available.

There was no mirror on the dressing table in our room, which made it a bit inconvenient for getting ready in the mornings.
