I had a fantastic stay at a beautiful traditional Japanese inn in Kyoto. the Taki room I stayed in was absolutely exquisite, transporting me to a different era with its stunning traditional design. the beds were comfortable, and the room had ample heating, including a heated rug to sit on. the hotel's location on a peaceful side street made it a convenient 5-10 minute walk to Kiyomizu-dera. I was also impressed by the friendly and helpful staff, who even provided adapters and assistance with transferring my luggage. it was a wonderful experience that I would definitely repeat.

During my recent stay at Kyomachiya Hotel Mifuku, I must say that I was impressed with the traditional atmosphere and cozy rooms. The tatami mat in our room added an authentic touch, and the provided soaps and toiletries were of great quality. Additionally, the location was fantastic, with plenty of nearby restaurants and easy access to sightseeing spots. The private entry to our room was also a nice feature. Despite the small size of the room and lack of access to the gardens outside, I found the overall experience to be quite enjoyable. The bells from the neighboring temple added a charming touch to the ambiance. I would definitely recommend this hotel for those seeking a genuine and comfortable stay.

This traditional inn is located in a bustling area close to the popular Gion district, making it convenient for exploring the city. It is also near a taxi stand, making transportation a breeze. Additionally, it is right next to all the famous tourist attractions, allowing guests to easily visit the sights they desire. The rooms are spacious and provide a comfortable experience, with amenities such as a coffee machine and fridge.

Some guests may find the nearby cemetery unsettling, as it can be seen from the windows of the hotel.

This hotel offers excellent value for money. The prices are reasonable for the quality of service and amenities provided. The attention to detail is evident in the well-maintained rooms, with comfortable big beds and tatami mats on the mezzanine floor. The heated mattresses ensure a cozy and relaxing sleep. The lovely garden adds to the overall ambiance of the hotel.

This hotel was a great option for my Thanksgiving stay. I loved that the hotel was located in a charming neighborhood with many coffee shops and artisanal shops nearby. the private gardens attached to the rooms were a nice touch and provided a great space to relax in.

While I enjoyed my stay overall, there were a few negatives to note. First, the locks on the doors did not feel very secure, and there was no front desk staff available after a certain hour.
