I had a wonderful stay at the charming Golf Club And Hotel in Thorpeness. The grounds were lovely, and my spacious room had a nice vibe. I was impressed by the friendly and accommodating staff who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The views from the room were breathtaking, and I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food offered at breakfast. The bar was also open all night, which was a great convenience. The hotel's excellent WiFi was a bonus, especially as the signal service was not stable. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at a lovely hotel in a beautiful location close to a nature reserve. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a clean bathroom. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. In the morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast with a view of the river. The hotel also had facilities for snooker and golf, which I found to be a great advantage. it was a great experience.

The room at the hotel was nicely decorated with a clean look and had a lovely view from the window-balcony. the sheets on the bed felt luxurious to sleep with, as if they were of a high thread count. the staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating. the garden area at the back of the hotel was gorgeous, with a water-garden feature beside the salt marsh stream.

One of the negative aspects of the hotel was the early end time for breakfast, which ended at 9 am. This may not be convenient for guests who want to have a more relaxed morning, especially if they had a late night the previous evening.

thorpeness exceeded my expectations once again. the location was marvelous - beautiful views of the river and countryside. the staff were warm and attentive, and the courtesy gift in our room was a lovely surprise. we had a delicious dinner at the restaurant and the breakfast was outstanding. overall, a memorable stay!

This hotel is located in a stunning and peaceful area, surrounded by a beautiful golf course. The staff is attentive and the service is excellent. The rooms are well-appointed, with some blinds on the windows and curtains, providing privacy and a lovely view of the golf course. The breakfast, including perfect porridge and delicious eggs, is served with a great view.

Although the food was generally excellent, there were some nights where the menu was a bit limited. Additionally, the management could have been more attentive to the small details, such as ensuring the curtains are properly hung and the toilets are in working order.

The golf course was fantastic and well-maintained. the friendly and accommodating staff really added to the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. the restaurant had a great range of menu options and the food was well prepared and presented.

Our room could have done with a bit of updating and modernisation. the bedding and mattresses were quite basic and tired, but thankfully the linens were fresh and clean.
