Our stay at Victoria was pleasant and enjoyable. The location was unbeatable, and the staff were very helpful throughout our visit. We also appreciated the good car parking facilities.

There were a few drawbacks. The room we stayed in was a bit hot and stuffy due to limited natural light from the high-up window.

Convenient location in a historic town. Some rooms offer castle views. Interesting old building with onsite amenities including a bar and restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds with all necessary amenities.

This hotel offers excellent value for money with reasonable prices and attention to detail. The location is perfectly situated for all tourist destinations, including the stunning castle. The rooms are well-appointed and feature very comfortable beds, along with excellent views and good facilities. Additionally, the breakfast included in the stay is of top-notch quality, using fresh ingredients and served promptly at 9.40am.

The staff were extremely helpful and kind, going out of their way to assist us. The receptionist allowed us to check out later so I could change for my son's wedding. The breakfast was delicious and the breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is also dog-friendly, which was great for our beach walks in Bamburgh.

We had a wonderful romantic escape with great complementary offers and perfect location near stunning sights. The breakfast and dinner were impressive, and the staff were accommodating. Our room had an awe-inspiring view and was clean and spacious.

Great location with beautiful views of the castle and easy access to parking. The bar and dining areas were recently refurbished and very clean. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable and the bed linen was clean and smelled nice.

The room we stayed in had some issues, such as black mould in the shower and around the basin, and dust in various places. The bathroom needed refurbishment, with a poorly closing door and a shabby shower cubicle that didn't drain well.

The hotel's location is perfect and situated in the centre of the village. It's right next to the kitchen area, which is handy if you like to enjoy the aroma of good food. The room was clean and comfortable with a stunning castle view. Breakfast was included and had quality ingredients that were cooked to perfection by the chef at 9.40am.

All was okay.

I recently stayed at Victoria for an overnight visit. The staff at the restaurant and reception were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The beds were comfortable and the entire hotel was clean. The food at the restaurant was delicious for both dinner and breakfast, and I especially loved the view of the castle from my room. The residents lounge with its log fire and cozy chairs was a lovely touch.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

stayed in bamburgh before but victoria exceeded expectations. great location with delicious evening meal and impressive breakfast. comfy bed and clean rooms. polite staff. definitely a five star experience. would stay there again!

Parking was hectic for motorcycles.

I had a fantastic stay at a hotel in a great location close to the castle in Bamburgh town center. The restaurant on Friday night was a highlight, with delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. The room was comfortable, with a clean bathroom and friendly service. The breakfast in the morning was hearty and satisfying, setting me up for a day of exploring. The view of the beautiful castle from the hotel was an added bonus.

The wifi was unreliable and only accessible in inconvenient areas of the hotel.

The value for money was great, with a spacious and tastefully decorated room. The hotel's location was lovely, right in the heart of the main street. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and even made sure our dog felt welcome with a dog-friendly room and entrance.

While everything about the breakfast was great, it would have been even better with some brighter breakfast items.
