The hotel's location, directly opposite a bustling race course, added an extra element of excitement to our visit.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bar area offered enjoyable live music. Despite the nearby rail line, the double glazing ensured a peaceful sleep.

Despite the train line opposite, the room was well-insulated and we weren't disturbed by the noise. the bar was a lively place with a mix of locals and visitors, offering great beer and live music. the food was exceptional, with a focused menu of high-quality dishes. it was a fantastic place to celebrate a birthday and a good alternative to chain hotels.

The food was excellent, meeting all dietary requirements. Despite some noise from passing trains, the hotel worked hard to create a wonderful wedding experience. I highly recommend this hotel.

Despite the reviews mentioning noise from trains, we stayed in room 7 and after 11.15 pm, we didn't notice any noise, even with the windows open.
