We stayed at The Wellington for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The location is unbeatable, just minutes away from a beautiful promenade and beach. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us and our dog feel at home. The room was cozy and nicely furnished, with a comfortable bed and modern en-suite bathroom. The bar was lively and popular among friendly locals. We also enjoyed a delicious New Year's Eve meal. The hotel is housed in a charming old pub, adding to its unique character.

We had a fantastic stay at the Wellington Pub! Great value for money with a smart, clean, and pretty room. The location was perfect, minutes away from town, the beach, the play park, and even the zoo. The staff, especially the lovely manager, went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The local cider comes highly recommended!

The food for breakfast could have been better, but everything else was perfect.

Conveniently located base, clean and modern rooms with fresh linens and towels, and friendly staff. The breakfast menu was good with delicious freshly cooked food. The room had ample tea and coffee supplies and toiletries were provided.

The noise level was high due to the pub being below and the early morning deliveries meant that getting a good night’s sleep was difficult. The toilet mechanism was noisy on the first night, which disturbed our sleep.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay during Easter. The staff were sociable and informative, providing personal knowledge of local attractions. The bed was large and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast was excellent, with freshly cooked options and plenty to choose from. The hotel's location was ideal, being close to the town center and the promenade. Plus, there was an ice cream parlor right outside the front door!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in a lovely area. The room was beautifully decorated with a super comfy huge bed. Despite being on a busy street, noise was kept to a minimum. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was delicious with a decent slice of bread to toast.

Despite being located above a busy pub, we couldn't hear any noise from our room. the facilities and amenities provided by The Wellington Pub were top-notch.

We did encounter a couple of minor issues during our stay, but they were largely our own fault. parking was difficult until after 6pm, which was a bit inconvenient.

The location of the hotel is excellent, being very close to the sea front. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped with tea/coffee facilities. The en-suite bathrooms are perfect, providing everything you need. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to help. a discount card is provided for a nearby cafe, making breakfast a convenient and enjoyable experience.

Some guests experienced noise issues from the pub below, which affected their sleep quality.
